How to measure and mix the Daily Greens

Our Daily Greens, a concentrated blend of nutrient-rich greens and superfoods, has gained popularity for its potential health benefits. To make the most of this dietary supplement, it's crucial to know how to accurately measure, level, and mix the powder into a glass. In this article, we'll provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to level a scoop of 2 tablespoons (tbsp) of greens powder into a glass and mix it effectively.

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies: Before you begin, make sure you have everything you need:

  • A glass or shaker bottle
  • A container of greens powder
  • A clean and dry scoop or spoon
  • A flat surface for leveling

Step 2: Shake the Greens Powder Container: To ensure that the greens powder is well-mixed and consistent, give the container a gentle shake or stir with a clean, dry utensil before scooping.

Step 3: Use the Correct Scoop: A standard 1 tbsp measuring spoon is a great option for scooping your Daily Red, as long as it's clean and dry to maintain the powder's integrity. For the most precise measurement though, we recommend using a kitchen scale.

Step 4: Fill the Scoop: Insert the scoop into the greens powder container and gently scoop up the powder. Avoid compressing the powder into the scoop; instead, allow it to naturally fill the scoop. It's important to maintain a level scoop to ensure an accurate 2-tbsp measurement.

Step 5: Level the Scoop: Once the scoop is filled with greens powder, it's time to level it off. To do this, use the back of a knife or any flat-edged utensil. Hold the scoop over the container, and gently sweep the flat edge of the utensil across the top of the scoop, leveling off the excess powder. This ensures that you have precisely 2 tablespoons of greens powder.

Step 6: Transfer to the Glass: Carefully transfer the leveled greens powder from the scoop to a clean, dry glass or shaker bottle. Be cautious not to spill or waste any of the powder.

Step 7: Add Liquid: To mix your greens powder effectively, add your preferred liquid. Most people use water, but you can also use juice, almond milk, or any liquid of your choice (you can even add it to your smoothie!) The amount of liquid may vary depending on your personal preference but starting with 8-10 ounces is a good rule of thumb.

Step 8: Stir or Shake: Use a spoon to stir the greens powder into the liquid until it's well combined. Alternatively, if you're using a shaker bottle, simply close the lid and shake it vigorously for a few seconds until the powder is completely dissolved.

Step 9: Enjoy! Once the greens powder is thoroughly mixed with the liquid, your drink is ready to enjoy.

Because we don't use any chemical emulsifiers or suspending agents, the powder may settle due to the high amount of fiber. We use fiber from real food ingredients that contains a mix of soluble and insoluble fiber. The insoluble fibers will not dissolve in water, but they are important at helping regulate your gut. If you notice settling just, stir or shake!
