What part of the mushroom is used in your functional mushroom/adaptogen products?

Our Organic Performance Mushrooms utilize full-spectrum mushrooms. The full spectrum includes the fruiting body, primordia, mycelium, and bio-mass. Our Organic mushrooms are cultivated in the USA on organic while milo (sorgum), which is naturally gluten-free. These mushrooms are harvested and air-dried at controlled temperatures to help preserve any temperature-sensitive constituents such as amino acids and extracellular compounds in the mushrooms.

 

Our mushroom extracts, like those found in our Instant Lattes, Protein Bars, Daily Greens, and other products, are grown organically and certified in compliance with the US-Canada Organic Equivalence Agreement.

 

Why extract vs powder? We chose extracts for several of our products to ensure the great taste of the product is not impacted by the inclusion of mushrooms. Extracts also allow for greater amounts of beta-D-glucans, which are extracted from the fruiting body of the mushroom.
